The Retail Council Helps A.R.E. Focus on What's Important to Fixture Store Planners and Visual Merchandisers.
Retail Council members help guide A.R.E.'s retail-focused programs, such as the A.R.E. Design Awards; retail-oriented segments of the A.R.E. web site, the association's participation at GlobalShop; as well as all future retail-oriented services and campaigns of the association.
The first meeting of the then NASFM Advisory Retail Council
was attended by five of its six charter members on Feb.
3, 2000. Since then the council has grown to 50 retailers, seven of whom serve as executive
committee members.
