May 18, 2009 — Pan-Oston, an industry designer, developer and manufacturer of retail checkout and merchandising display products, announced today that they have completed the 12th installation of an C-Flex beverage counter system in Asia with an additional 23 installations scheduled for June and July, 2009.
C-Flex, a patent pending counter system is the newest retail merchandising innovation in decades. C-Flex uses a tubular steel structural frame so the units are created as ‘integrated systems’ and not as adjoining cabinets like traditional modular counter units. C-Flex’s design supports virtually any counter configuration and provides retail stores with the flexibility to change and update counter tops and surfaces or reconfigure the whole layout without closing the store and without replacing the patent pending frame design.
C-Flex provides retailers with a 2,000lb load-bearing capacity as a standard feature can ship “knock-down” to significantly reduce freight costs and can be assembled with basic hand tools in less time than traditional counters.

C-Flex can be LEED compatible and the patent pending features significantly reduces CO2 emissions by the consumption of fewer natural resources. The unique sub-frame can be re-used for many remodels over the life of a store and because only exterior panels are replaced for a new fixture appearance, up to 75% of the landfill volume that is consumed with discarded traditional wood counter systems during remodels is eliminated with the C-Flex design.
