June 12, 2008— Seven A.R.E. members won awards in the 2007 Institute of Store Planners/VM+SD International Store Design Competition. Taking home a Special Award in the "Store of the Year" category was HBO Shop, designed by Gensler.

Gensler also won:
• First Place for HBO Shop in the "Specialty Store Under 1500-sq.-ft." category
• First Place for Motorola M-Lab in the "Entertainment Facility" category

Other A.R.E. members winning awards were:

Callison:
• First Place in the "New or Completely Renovated Full-Line Department Store" category, for Seibu Jakarta
• First Place in the "Specialty Store 3001 to 5000-sq.-ft. category" for the At&T Experience Store

Kingsmen Projects:
• Award of Merit in the category of "New or Completely Renovated Specialty Department Store" for Robinsons Dept. Store

Chute Gerdeman Retail:
• First Place in the "Specialty Store over 10,000-sq-ft." category for M&M's World New York

EWI Worldwide:
•First Place in the "Kiosk in a Shopping Center or Store" category for The Mobile Lounge

Pavlik Design Team:
• Award of Merit in the "Supermarket" category for City Market

Charles Sparks & Co.:
• Special Award in the "Innovative Finishes/Uses Category" for Chicago Botanic Garden Shop
