State College, Penn.-based AccuWeather Inc. is an internet-based provider of weather forecast information, graphics, and data. The company has partnered with EasyShadow LLC to integrate AccuWeather’s content into an innovative digital signage system called easyMEDIAonline. The two companies have collaborated on digital modules which deliver live content to the retailers' signage, and allow them to mix live information with custom advertising content.

Weather content has been proven to attract and build audiences in television, internet, and wireless media. The modules deliver AccuWeather's forecasts, which cover over 2.7 million locations worldwide, as well as featuring the company's broadcast personalities, Doppler radar, weather icons, and weather indices. The marketing system allows retailers to combine engaging news and weather information with custom advertising. It is internet-controlled, has single- to multi-window display capability, and provides the ability to advertise and inform in any video or graphic format in real-time.
