Group Manager, MAGIC
Target
Judy Bell is group manager of MAGIC (Marketing & Guest Insight Center) of Target Corp. She specializes in retail trend research, reporting, and internal consulting. Bell serves on two retail design industry boards—the Planning and Visual Education Partnership board and the DDI Magazine Editorial Advisory Board. She has served as an advisor to the Digital Media Board and for 10 years was an officer of the National Association of Display Industries (NADI), which is now the visual merchandising division of NASFM.
Bell has received two visual merchandising and design industry awards, the Luminary Award in 2006 and the Markopoulos Award in 1999. Her book Silent Selling, published in 2006 by Fairchild in New York City, has been adopted by more than 175 colleges and universities. She is working on an edited version of Silent Selling for retailers. Other forthcoming books by Bell include Energetic Environments and StreetSmart.
