Fiberoptic Lighting Inc. created this fiberoptic train for Mattel for a Toy Fair launch in Manhattan.

The Mattel train fiberoptic lighting was an entrance sign for Mattel’s Disney branded products, which are popular in the infant and preschool markets. The train has a photo image background. Everything that can animate does. The wheels appear to turn. The train puffs rainbow-colored steam.

With each logo animated individually, the sign is a visual indication of the joint venture between Disney and Mattel to create toys for young children. The sign measures 37 in. high and 96 in. long.
