Illuminated graphic displays launched at Nordstrom


B&N's new Illuminati collection in windows, aisles, and focal displays spotlights Nordstrom's spring fashion merchandise. Display and merchandising pieces include a magnifier that focuses attention on smaller items, fabric graphics that raise and lower like window shades, pedestals and hanging cylinders featuring custom graphics, lightpoles, and benches — all internally lit for a radiant effect. The Illuminati collection was created by B&N in collaboration with lighting designer Pablo Pardo and launched at Nordstrom's high-profile Las Vegas store.

Glowing LightBenches provide an appropriate background to elegantly displayed accessories. To power these displays in the middle of the aisle, power was dropped from the ceiling into each Sorbetti Upright and then run to each component under a custom-made platform. The platform not only provided the power management, but also gave the aisle a strong visual grounding.
