Sophisticated Security:
Radio-transmit system provides audit trail for award-winning jewelry cases

Hafele's custom low-voltage Dialock security system unobtrusively keeps the timeless luxury merchandise secure while providing easy access via encrypted radio-controlled data transfer. Store employees can open a display case by waving a match-sized transponder within 2.5 in. of the reader inside the case—no keys, no cards, no combinations to remember, no loud clicks, no wear and tear, no dust issues. The case automatically relocks after a preprogrammed time period. With 4.3 billion possible code combinations, the intelligent key system provides a unique encrypted code for each employee and allows Cartier to track case opening patterns.

In addition to showcases, Dialock systems can be used with entry doors, safes, and storage areas. Transponders, available in TI-RFid™ and LEGIC®, protect data from moisture, heat, cold, and magnetic fields. Readers may be placed behind any non-metallic material. Three types of programming are available to manage key authorization, access control features, and communication functions.
