| A copper barrel-vaulted entrance builds instant drama for this upscale grocery replete with departmental theaters. Skylights, chandeliers, a sculpted waterfall, and unique wall tiles set the stage, while robotic wildlife display components and jungle sounds in the produce section entertain. Photos from the past and artistic fixtures using oxidized metal, natural woods, and Old World porcelain honor the 120-year-old retailer’s heritage. Distinctive details include floor-level placement of a lobster tank extension to the seafood case. |
