| Self-illuminated fixtures draw all eyes to the products. Establishing an ethereal quality, the rear wall compels shoppers with its trend-setting eyewear floating in a brightly lit background of matte white plaster on either side of faces that have begun morphing into the room.A cylindrical greeting counter displays vintage sunglasses in LED-framed bowls carved into its surface to appear part of the wall display broken away to engage the public. The counter provides a meeting place for product reference and directs customers to the wall displays.There, the merchandise is again the star, thanks to three types of concealed lighting, including remote fiberoptic illuminators with hidden ventilation. The wall displays also contain drawers for product storage, and a flat-screen monitor integrated into the framework plays classic Hollywood movies referencing fashion and excitement.High-gloss paint lightens the fixtures and reflects design elements to make the 1,022-sq.-ft. store appear larger, while the lack of barriers in the fixturing encourages customers to try on the glasses. |
