This 208,000-sq.-ft. department store emphasizes
store brand over product brand. It uses subtle variation
in decor and finishes to designate different zones
with minimal transitions, and regulates opportunities
for brand signage. It features open-sell cosmetics,
shallow departments, light slots in the ceiling,
which help pull customers through the store, and
a strong architectural framework with emphasis on
brand identity. The store fixturing was completely
overhauled for maximum merchandise impact
