Steve Szumlanski has worked for Chico's since 1987 and is currently responsible
for store planning for the Chico's concept as well as the White House Black Market
concept and the yet-to-be named intimates concept. Previously, he was a vice
president of Promo-Wear, one of Canada's largest manufacturers of promotional
clothing. His formal education is in engineering, allowing a unique interface
between the design intent and the practicality of actually building it.
