Peter Moore is the director of store design and construction for Holt Renfrew & Co. Ltd. Moore came to Canada in the mid-‘70s from England to study Civil Engineering, following that up with several years in the general contracting business specializing in retail construction.
Since 1985, he has primarily worked for many George Weston companies, from building properties at Windsor in Vero Beach, Fla., to his current role at the Canadian icon, Holt Renfrew, whose flagship store on Bloor Street in Toronto won the prestigious NASFM Store of the Year Award in 2004. Moore is leading the construction of a new 140,000-sq.-ft. store in Vancouver, opening April 2007. |
