John Cassimus is president and CEO of Zoës Kitchen, a fast-casual restaurant concept with 21 locations in six states offering sandwiches and salads with a Mediterranean flair.
Cassimus has been a featured speaker at the University of Alabama, Auburn University at Montgomery, the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce, the Birmingham Rotaract Club, Energen Leadership Group, the University of Florida, Florida State University, Louisiana State University, the University of Mississippi, Samford University, Southern Methodist University, and the University of Texas. A Birmingham, Ala., native, Cassimus holds a B.S. in finance from the University of Alabama, where he earned three varsity letters on the football team.
A pilot who logs more than 300 hours annually, Cassimus is also a writer and photographer whose work has been featured in Private Air Magazine. He is an avid cyclist, hunter, and chef.
