Stride Rite
Jim Harte attained his LEED AP in 2009. He has served as director of retail environments at Stride Rite since April 2008. His previous position was director of retail design and construction for Stride Rite Children’s Group starting in 2001. Prior to that, he was manager of design and construction for the company.
Harte is capitalizing on his knowledge of store design and construction to look beyond the functional aspects of these disciplines and is exploring for Stride Rite how retail is affected by the execution of these items. This will assist Stride Rite in expanding beyond its traditional marketplace and allowing the continuing growth of the company. Harte recently directed the evolution and expansive growth of Stride Rite.
Stride Rite has been the recipient of two Store of the Year awards from Chain Store Age during his tenure as director of store design and construction.
Harte has 20+ years of experience in the store design and construction industry. He is a graduate of Suffolk University with a degree in marketing communication. He has been with Stride Rite since 1989. |
