FRCH Design Worldwide
Christian Davies heads the specialty brands studio at
FRCH Design Worldwide and runs the brand development group
in partnership with business units throughout the firm.
Trained as a retail designer, Davies began his career
with Fitch Worldwide working for clients in the European
and U.S. markets. He also has held executive positions
with The Retail Group and Utility Inc., both based in
Seattle. He retains a hands-on creative role at FRCH,
and his work has won numerous design awards, including
an IDSA/Business Week Designs of the Decade Bronze medal
in 1999.
A frequently published commentator on international design
trends, Davies’ work has been featured in such publications
as World Architecture, The Boston Globe, USA Today
and The London Sunday Times. Recent years have
seen him as a session speaker at GlobalShop and NRF and
a keynote speaker at both StoreXpo and the International
Retail Design Conference.
Complementing his role with A.R.E., Davies is a charter
member of the VM+SD Magazine Editorial Board.
