With more than 30 years of expertise in visual merchandising and store design, planning and marketing, Brian Preussker founded Creative Retail Consulting in 2006, offering consulting in visual merchandising, store design, marketing, and management.

During his 17 years at Macy's West as senior vice president of visual merchandising, store design, and construction, his leadership and creativity led to a number of accolades, including the 2005 Macy's West Visual Merchandising VIP Award for Most Inspiring, the 2002 Videographer Award for Excellence for “thisit” sales floor remodel, the 2002 DDI Editor's Choice for Most Mesmerizing Windows For The Year, a 2001 NASFM Retail Design Awards Grand Prize for the Home Store, and a 1999 Communicator Crystal Award. Preussker's background also includes stints at Bullock's Department Stores, Macy's East, and Bloomingdale's.

Preussker serves on the editorial advisory boards of DDI and Retail Design and Visual Presentation magazines and is a council member of the Gerson Lehrman Group Councils.
