Brenda Houston launched her own consulting firm specializing in creative branding in April 2008. She works out of Dallas and New York City. Clients include Tourneau, Harry Winston, Samuels Jewelers, Helzburg Jewelers, and Wynn hotels.

Her accessories line, launched in 2008, is being featured at Neiman Marcus. Houston developed the only countertop LED lamp for the jewelry industry.

Houston formerly was vice president of visual and store design for David Yurman. Her background also includes serving as senior director for Zale Corp. and Princess Cruise Lines as well as various positions with Barneys New York, I.Magnin, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Bloomingdales.

She was a guest speaker at GlobalShop 2008 on luxury retail and a recipient of a 2007 Best of the Year Award by Interior Design magazine for David Yurman in Beverly Hills.
